Minus what?
You may have been a bit of a blanket hog last night... but it's justified.
Especially if you live in Mullingar where the mercury plummeted to a bone chilling -4C.
While Gurteen in Co. Sligo and Athenry in Co. Galway didn't fare much better... Recording -3.7C and -3.6C respectively in the early hours of this morning.
Met Eireann tweeted a list of the lowest temperatures recorded at it's weather stations over night, and it makes for pretty grim reading.

Things will get a little warmer as the day goes on though, with Met Eireann predicting temperatures between 7C to 9C.
However, when night hits, temperatures could drop to freezing point once again.
Maybe have an extra blanket or two handy tonight.
