Beware: A major WhatsApp scam is doing the rounds in Ireland today

Tayto Park has advised people to ignore the link

If you get a WhatsApp message offering Five-free family passes for 500-families today to Tayto Park, make sure you ignore it.

The message has been doing the rounds around the WhatsApp groups of Ireland for the past day.

Some people have even reported receiving the message, claiming to be an offer from Tayto Park, at least 20-times.

However it is not a genuine offer and Tayto Park have moved quickly to distance themselves from the message.

The popular theme park tweeted: ''The website is not our's and we would advise everyone to IGNORE this link!''

Hi guys, we would like to advise that there is a link being sent around stating that we are giving away 5 free family passes to 500 families.
