It looks like the days of the CV could be numbered.

Major drinks employer Molson Coors says jobseekers no longer need to submit CVs when applying for roles with them.

It says video job applications are the future of recruitment and CVs may discriminate by focusing too much on where a candidate went to school or college.

Laura Lee, Molson Coors Head in Ireland says ditching CVs gets employers to take chances on new staff:

'You see CVs land infront of you, and you automatically form a perception about the individual.'

'I think this (video job applications) takes all of that away.'

'It really encourages all of us to challenge our own perspectives and biases around what we need.'

Ms. Molson also believes the use of video applications will make the workplace more diverse:

'There's always gonna be roles where you need a certain level of experience.'

'If it encourages all of us to take a chance and be more accepting and welcoming of different people coming through the door, they're the leaders of the future.'

'You get a business that's then built on people that are much more diverse.'
