Controversial figure and US President Donald Trump was restricted several times last night by Twitter mods.
In an attempt to clamp down on inciting violence and unrest, Twitter officials suspended Donald Trump's account overnight.
The ban will be permanent, according to a press-release, on Trump's personal twitter account @realDonaldTrump.

However, that didn't stop Trump from finding a way of getting his point across.
The 45th US President took over the @POTUS account and tweeted these messages:

Was that the end of Donald Trump on Twitter as we know it? No!
Trump moved his messages of backlash for Twitter over to a campaign page @teamtrump.
This page was subsequently banned too.
Some republican representatives then offered for the US President to take control of their accounts.
A number of these users were also restricted from using the platform last night for doing so.
Twitter haven't been on their own in scaling back on Donald Trump's messages.
Following the violent assault on Capitol Hill during the week, Facebook have also banned Trump for fear of inciting further riots.
It will be a difficult build-up to President Elect Joe Biden's inauguration on January 20th.
