The Palestinian Border Authority has published a list of 127 names which will be allowed to cross, as Israel surrounds Gaza City.
Some 342 Palestinians and 42 others crossed yesterday, following around 400 on Wednesday.
Hannah McCarthy, a freelance journalist reporting from the Middle East says the situation there is intensifying.
'Many people will probably have heard the news last night that the Israeli defence forces have said that they have encircled Gaza city. We know that there are still hundreds of thousands of civilians still in that city but it's part of the territory that the IDF has said that civilians should evacuate from. We also know that there's Irish civilians in the city.'
