Two children injured after double buggy struck by car in Co Limerick

Two children have been taken to to University Hospital Limerick after the buggy they were sitting in was struck by a car in Abbeyfeale in Co Limerick.

The two children were in a double buggy being pushed by their father at the time of the collision.

The incident, which involved four cars, occurred at around 7.30am on the Killarney road side of the town.

It's understood that their injuries are not life-threatening.

A woman driving one of the cars was seriously injured in the crash.

The road has been closed for a technical examination.
