Donald Trump says he will appeal after a civil court jury found he sexually abused a woman in the 1990s.
Magazine columnist E Jean Carroll says the former US president attacked her in a changing room in a New York department store - then defamed her by lying about it.
The court rejected her claim of rape.
Mr Trump faces no criminal consequences - but it could haunt his bid to regain the White House.
'I have absolutely no idea who this woman is. The verdict is a disgrace, a continuation of the greatest witch hunt of all time. Absolutely a shame.'
