There's a shortage of feather boas in Ireland - because of Harry Styles playing Slane next week.

The former One Direction star takes to the Co. Meath stage on June 10th, but his concert is causing a run on feather boas due to demand from fans.

Shops say there's a shortage of boas in the UK and Ireland, and they're waiting on deliveries.

Sarah Collery, the manager at FunPlace.ie, says there's demand from men and women of all ages.

"People are waiting for our big order to come in next week, where we'll have all the pastel colours, like the purple feather boa or the lime green.

"I think it's a mix of both [genders], like across all ages, probably a bit more women but definitely acorss the board with ages."

The Independent report, Wayne McMahon, manager of the Silly Shop in Dublin is also waiting for a delivery and expects for them to sell out quickly.

“In the past few weeks, we’ve had a lot of people coming in and asking for feather boas.

“What I find quite funny is the wide-eyed mothers coming in looking for their little cailíní who are going, and then they say they need one too because they’re going.
