An online booking system will launch on hpv dot ie next Tuesday, and remain open until December 31st.
Health Minister Stephen Donnelly is urging all those eligible to avail of the programme.
'The Vaccine is completely free, it's administered at the HSE vaccine clinics and it's a really great opportunity for young men. The vaccine protects men from several cancers including throat cancer, anal cancer and mouth cancer. One in three men ages 18 and over carry at least one strain of the HPV virus.'
