The Taoiseach says all efforts will be made to bring the perpetrators of a fire in Ringsend in Dublin to justice.
Leo Varadkar says the premises was intended for use an emergency accommodation for families.
The Justice Minister's confirmed the blaze which broke out at a disused pub on Thorncastle Street shortly before 2am yesterday was ' a deliberate act'.
Local councillor Danny Byrne says fears grew because the Government didn't tell the community about the plans for the building, explaining that "in the absence of any official notifications from council or any official source, a narrative took hold in the local area that this was to be for refugees and it was going to be for this and for that."
