Dean Hotel Confirms The Swings Are NOT Coming Down

There were rumours the swings were being removed.

The Dean Hotel in Dublin has confirmed their swings are going nowhere.

There were images circulating online yesterday that suggested the swings were being removed in light of the Maria Bailey controversy. 

The Fine Gael TD had decided to sue the hotel after she fell off a swing at the property. The case has since been withdrawn and Fine Gael say they'll carry out an internal review into the claim to establish all the facts.

However, Sophie's in Dublin say they've "no intention" of removing the swings and the pictures circulating online yesterday showed the swings being taken down for a private event.

The picture taken of the swings being removed yesterday was for a private hire event.
