Met Éireann says the affected areas will see heavy downpours, gusty winds, and a chance of hail.
Cathal Nolan from the Ireland Weather Channel says there's a risk of localised flooding:
'What we are likely to see is the development of pretty heavy showers and thunderstorms.'
'With that there is the risk of large accumulations of rainfall falling.'
