Sinead O'Connor will be laid to rest this morning.

Fans of Sinead O'Connor will have an opportunity to pay their respect to the singer this morning.

Her funeral procession will travel through Bray at 10.30.

The cortege will travel along the seafront in the town stopping at the singer's former home before a private funeral.

Local Bray Councillor Dermot O'Brien says today is an opportunity to say a final goodbye to Sinead.

'The Gardai have told us that around 10.30 am that they will arrange for the cortege to start at the Harbour Bar and at the harbour end of the seafront past Sinead's former home and I imagine then there will be opportunities for people to line up along the way and in their own dignified way and maybe have that moment.'
