Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault on a woman in County Louth.
It incident happened on the Tain Walk, which connects the Newry Road and the Inner Relief Road in Dundalk at around twenty to 8 yesterday evening
A woman in her early 20s was seriously assaulted when she was going for a walk and a man approached her from behind and attacked her.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them at Dundalk Garda station.
