Ryan Tubridy says he'll be presenting 'key documents' and 'new information' when he appears before two Oireachtas committees today.
In a statement the RTE star says they will bring 'maximum transparency' and address 'much of the misinformation which has circulated over the past three weeks'.
Tubridy and his agent Noel Kelly face a grilling from both the Public Accounts and Media Committees about the undisclosed payments from RTE.
The Higher Education Minister says today shouldn't just be about personalities.
Minister Simon Harris says it's more about establishing the facts.
'I think today's committee hearings are very important but I do think it's important that this just doesn't become about personalities, of course people are interested in individual personalities and I get that but from a Government point of view and I think a public confidence point of view it's about establishing the facts its about clarity its about transparency.'
