The feature could be banned in the UK
Privacy concerns are being raised over Snapchat's AI feature.
Snapchats version of ChatGPT was introduced in April and named MyAI.
The feature allows users to talk back and forth with artificial intelligence within the app.
The feature could be banned in the UK as the Information Comissioner's Office there alleges the company may have failed to properly asses privacy risks.
Technology Correspondent Jess Kelly says the worry is younger people are being influenced by it:
"This is built by open AI, the company behind ChatGPT. They say that it's designed to allow you to come up with ideas for birthday parties or you can ask it questions, you can interact with it."
She continued, "The ICO in the UK has alleged or is investigating if snap has failed to be fully transparent and fully assess the privacy risks associated with data of children who may be using it."
