A post box in Cork has been painted gold in honour of Cillian Murphy after the actor's Oscar win last Sunday.
Murphy won Best Actor at the Academy Awards for his lead role in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer.
The post box in question is in Murphy's hometown outside the Ballintemple Post Office in Cork.
'Cillian Murphy, Best Actor, Oppenheimer' is painted along the side of the post box.

In a tweet sent out on An Post's twitter, Murphy is quoted talking about his fondness for letter writing.
Dublin based producers Element Pictures also have had a post box dedicated for them.
They won for Academy Awards last week for their film Poor Things.
