A minute's silence has been held in the Spanish resort of Salou in memory of an Irish woman who its thought was murdered there.
The 36 year old woman's lifeless body was found in the corridor of a hotel on Sunday night, she'd been strangled with a cord.
A 30 year old Irishman, understood to be the woman's partner was arrested and is being held by Spanish police.
The suspect was found next to the woman, with what Police say was a self inflicted wound on his wrist.
Spain Correspondent for the Independent Graham Keeley says a trial is not likely to happen until much later this year.
'What we expect is when this man is fit, the Police will take him to appear before a local court and that will start the ball rolling. Much later, he's likely to be charged with the offence of murder or other offences but in Spain those charges come much later, much nearer trial date which will probably come later this year or even next year.'
