A local business owner in Leitrim says the roof of his premises was shredded by a mini tornado yesterday.
A cleanup continues this morning in the village after a freak weather incident swept in during Storm Fergus.
A number of buildings and cars were severely damaged and minor injuries were reported as a result.
Seamus Gibbons, the owner of Electric Bike Trails described what happened.
'This mini tornado literally swept across from east to west through the village and just took everything in sight. Across the road from me it took the middle of a house, the roof clean off, seemed to sweep up along the back of the local pub and came across my place and it just literally shredded the roof and it's a big roof.
