It happened outside Dundrum village early this morning.
A man in his 20s has died following a car crash in County Tipperary in the early hours of this morning.
Two other men, also in their 20s, are in hospital with injuries.
The single vehicle crash happened on the Dundrum to Thurles Road just 1 kilometre from the village of Dundrum, at around 5.30 this morning.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene, after the 4x4 he was travelling in left the road.
The two men were taken to South Tipperary General Hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.
The road is closed as forensic investigators are currently examining the crash site.
The Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them and are particularly appealing to anyone who travelled on the road in the early hours of Sunday morning to come forward.
