The Skoda Yeti is the car most likely to put a smile on your face at the NCT centre - 81.3% of those models passed the test last year with no problems.

Figures released by the Road Safety Authority for 2018 show that the model with the lowest pass rate was the Hyundai Trajet with just 20% of those vehicles passing.

So far this year, over 436,000 cars have failed the NCT. Out of those, almost 60,000 cars were deemed too dangerous to drive out of the test centre.
