The good weather is set to continue as high pressure continues to bring sunny spells and highs of 22 degrees, according to Met Éireann.
The national forecaster says high pressure is currently dominating the country.
The weekend is also set to be dry and sunny, with temperatures reaching 22 degrees.
Met Éireann forecaster Matthew Martin says the good weather will continue into next week.
'The weekend will see a good mix of cloud and sunshine but next week will see a good deal of sunshine right across the country and at that stage we expect the best of the temperatures to be in the western half of the country so it will be that little bit less warm in the east coast.'
