Image by The hunt is on for an 'Aoife' who put a message in a bottle and sent it out to sea in 2019.
A US man cleaning a beach along with his wife and granddaughter recently recovered the bottle from the shoreline of New Jersey.
The note which starts with 'greetings from Ireland', reads "I have thrown this bottle into the sea for someone to find another day. Maybe it's traveled down to Africa or to Iceland!
It's dated July 17th 2019 and was signed 'Aoife'.
Frank Bolger from Wildwood in New Jersey is now appealing to help to track down, after finding it on the shores of the USA.
