A man in his late 20s has died following a crash in Co Meath overnight.
This single vehicle collision happened on the R163 at Headfort near Kells at around 20 to 2 this morning.
The driver who was the only person in the car was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Gardaí say from initial enquiries the car left the road and struck a wall.
His body has since been removed to the mortuary at Navan Hospital.
The scene is being preserved for a forensic examination, and there are traffic diversions in place.
