A man in his 20s remains in custody this morning after a nine year old boy died in a crash in County Donegal.
The child was walking on Atlantic Way in Bundoran when he was knocked down shortly after 9.20 on Saturday night.
The man is being held at a garda station in County Donegal.
Bundoran councillor Michael McMahon says it's a tragedy.
'It's a very sad day in Bundoran, it's a very sad day for everyone in the area here and people are really upset about this. The whole town is in a state of shock.'
