Communities in Donegal and Westmeath are waking up over 6 million euro richer today.
Tuthills Newsagents in Athlone and McCarron's Village Shop in Quigleys Point sold tickets to last Saturday's Lotto jackpot.
Both winners have made contact with The National Lottery.
Joe Callinan is Manager of Tuthills in Athlone says the news came as a shock:
"Funny enough actually there was a customer that came in saying that we'd sold the winning ticket and we were like 'no we haven't, if we did we'd know about it sure we get calls from the Lotto, it's the not the first time it's happened, there'd be balloons, there'd be banners."
"We shrugged it off but sure then went down to the office and looked down on my phone and saw there was a missed call from our rep!"
