Kim Kardashian has decided to change the name her new shapewear line.

The reality TV star came under fire when she announced she was releasing a body-shaping underwear brand called Kimono.

It's believed to have been a play on her name, in a similar style to her other brands like Kimoji and KKW beauty.

She has been hit with criticism from Asian fans who feel it's disrespectful to their culture.

A kimono is best known as a traditional garment in Japanese culture that's worn for public holidays, weddings and other special occasions.

The backlash gave birth to #KimOhNo, with many accusing her of cultural appropriation.

Kim has taken to Instagram to say she chose the name with the best intentions in mind.

She's penned a long post attached to a picture of the star in the shapewear.

In it, she claims that hearing from the public on social media has helped her become as successful as she is.

The star promises she's always "listening, learning and growing" from her fans.
