An investigation is underway after a Kildare schoolboy suddenly died yesterday, reports the Irish Independent.
It's understood the 15-year-old was in the gymnasium when he took ill.
Emergency services were called to the school in Clane and he was taken to Crumlin Children’s Hospital in Dublin.
Sadly, the teenager was pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardai have confirmed they are investigating the sudden death and a post mortem examination is due to be carried out to confirm an exact cause of death.
