Over 250 prosecuted for wrongly claiming Job Seekers

More than 250 people have been prosecuted for wrongly claiming Job Seekers Allowance since 2017.

According to the Department of Social Protection's figures, 29 people were taken to court in the first half of this year.

27 people were convicted, with ten fined and two jailed.
