What an achievement for the Derry man.
Jason Smyth made it a sixth Paralympic gold medal after winning another in Tokyo.
The 34-year-old was up against it in the finals of the T13 100 metres.
He faced stiff competition from Algeria's Skander Djamil Athmani down the stretch.
Smyth managed to maintain his pace and secure first place in an emphatic finish.
Much of the talk will be around Smyth's star studded career now.
The T13 100 metre record holder has now won four gold medals in the event.
He's won a total of six Paralympic medals since his first games in Beijing in 2008.
He'll no doubt go down now as Ireland's greatest ever Paralympian.
