Be careful out there!
It's probably not quite as bad as when Teresa Mannion delivered this epic news report from Salthill...
But caution is being urged on roads.
A status yellow thunderstorm warning has come into effect for 18 counties.
Met Eireann says there'll be thundery downpours and a risk of spot flooding across Leinster, Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Leitrim, Roscommon and Sligo.
The warning's valid until 8pm.
Here's the full weather report from met Éireann:
"Rain in the east and northeast today with sunshine and showers elsewhere.
There'll be heavier showers with a chance of thunderstorms and localised flooding from around lunchtime until early evening; areas at risk the counties north and east of a line from Sligo to Wexford.
Highest temperatures 17 to 20 degrees, with mostly light southerly winds veering westerly later."
