Mixed emotions about this really...
What a week for weather.
While it's been absolutely amazing getting this heatwave, there's a part of us that kinda needs a break.
But even saying that makes us feel pure guilt because the moment the sun goes we'll be wishing it back!
We think though the latest weather forecast is a happy medium though.
While the high temperature warning has ended, we're still being promised a sunny weekend.
The warning ended this morning after being in place for almost four days.
Which means the heatwave has also officially ended, according to meteorologists.
Here's today's forecast:
Good sunny spells today, albeit a little cloudier in the east.
It'll be a mostly dry day, but we may get a few isolated heavy showers or thunderstorms in the west this afternoon.
Highest temperatures of 23 to 28 degrees generally.
That still sounds heatwave-like to us!
Tomorrow then...
Good sunny spells with just a few scattered heavy or thundery showers developing in the afternoon.
Highest temperatures of 22 to 28 degrees.
Make the most of it because....
It'll cool right down on Monday:
Less humid with a fair amount of cloud around with the best of the sunshine in the south and southeast.
Showery outbreaks of rain will develop during the day, mainly in western parts.
Highest temperatures typically ranging 18 to 23 degrees
