The poll also found a defiant nature in those who are unvaccinated.
15% of unvaccinated people said they intend to carry on socialising as normal over Christmas.
Older people have the most support for tougher restrictions - at 63%.
While those aged between 18-24 years are less supportive - at 42%.
While 74% of unvaccinated people are against stricter restrictions.
The poll began on the day the Omicron variant was officially named.

In terms of how happy people are with the way the government is handling the pandemic, it remains steady.
46% are satisfied with it, while 56% of people are satisfied with NPHET.
It comes as tensions rise, with the decision yesterday that members of NPHET now need government permission to speak to the media.
