Last year's show saw the introduction of the Toy Show Appeal - which set out to raise money for a number of children's charities.

That appeal returned this year and over €6.6m was raised.

People could ring or use money app Revolut to donate.

The money raised included a whopping €100,000 from one of the Revolut co-founders, Vlad Yatsenko.

The Irish Examiner reports he also pledged to match any further donations made via the Revolut App this weekend up to €1m.

“What an incredible support Revolut App customers gave to a worthy charity,” Mr Yatsenko said.

Along with all the children who took part on the night to show off toys and their talents, there were a couple of guest stars.

Irish Olympic boxer Kellie Harrington surprised two fans on the night.

As well as that, Ed Sheeran made a guest appearance toward the end and sang with a choir of children.

Ed also joined in on a game with two children and Ryan.
