This could be quite helpful.

A Tax Saver commuter ticket is on the way for hybrid workers who spend some time at home and other days at their workplace.

They're going to be available early next year according to the Sunday Independent.

And they're to provide 100 days of travel for use any time in the year.

The National Transport Authority confirmed the news to Labour TD Ged Nash.

Meanwhile, the Tánaiste is proposing new tax breaks for those working from home.

Work from home

The Business Post is reporting there's considerations at increasing an allowance for electricity and heating - to increase from 10 percent of bills currently to 30 percent.

The allowance only applies for the room a person is working in, and for the days they're working from home.

It's believed the change could cost up to eight million euro a year.
