Brexit is topping the list of fears for Irish people in the week before the budget.
(Source: www.pixabay.com)Research by Lottoland shows adults in Ireland are worrying about a host of big issues, including Brexit, health and the environment.
In the survey of 1,000 people, 53 per cent said they were concerned about Brexit, 49 per cent said health and 40 per cent picked climate change.
Housing fears were worst in Dublin with 39 per cent, compared to 34 per cent around the country.
Just over a third of those surveyed said they feared Donald Trump getting re-elected for a second term as US President, while 30 per cent admitted they were worried about ongoing global conflicts and wars and 29 per cent voiced their concerns about impending winter storms.
The upcoming Budget, which is due to be delivered next Tuesday, was a concern for 28 per cent of the people surveyed, while 19 per cent said that the cost of Christmas could be a problem for them.
Right at the bottom of Pandora's Box was hope, with evidence that the nation is starting to latch on to Ireland's positive start to the Rugby World Cup - but that was before Japan's win over Joe Schmidt's men on Saturday.
