The latest listenership figures are out and it's great news for iRadio!
It’s a massive day for iRadio as we are saying Yes to 6,000 new listeners.
The latest JNLRs have been released (if you don't know what they are, they tell us how many people are listening to radio) and they show that iRadio has grown book on book in market share, daily reach, average quarter hours and weekly reach.
According to today’s results, 178,000 people listen to iRadio every single day, while 345,000 listen every week, up 6,000 since the last survey.
iRadio CEO Mark Cunning is welcoming the results:
"We've grown in terms of daily reach, so that's the people that listen to iRadio every day. We've grown by 6,000 listeners in weekly reach book on book.
"Breakfast with Cooper and Oonagh has 70,000 listeners. Sharron on iRadio at Work has added 2,000 listeners so she's now got 54,000 people listening every day. Paul's added 2,000 listeners to his show. Dave and Fionnuala are still the biggest show on the station with 75,000 listeners.
"In the evening. Louise has got 49,000 people who listen to The Hub every day, and Conor at night has added 3,000 new listeners to his show book on book."
