Katie, who is now the undisputed lightweight champion of the world, will be celebrated in her hometown.
Bray in Co. Wicklow will host the special event on Friday evening to honour its local hero.
Wicklow County Council has announced the news on Twitter, saying RTÉ's Des Cahill will be the MC and there will be live music.
Organisers are advising anyone who plans to attend the event to take public transport where possible.

Katie became the undisputed lightweight world champion on Saturday night when she overcame Delfine Persoon at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
There has been some controversy over the decision to award Katie the fight, however she has rejected that, saying she is sure she was the winner.
