Ireland is up to 13th spot in a report on world happiness.
Finland remains the happiest country in the world and many other Nordic countries are in the top spots, with Iceland at no.2.
Ireland climbed since last year, when it was at 16 in the World Happiness Report.
New Zealand is the only country not in Europe to make the top 10.
Happiness is measured with consideration for factors such as healthy life expectancy, freedom, generosity, GDP and corruption.
