A new trainer is expected to move into Gordon Elliott's yard while Elliott serves a ban handed down by the Irish Horse Racing Regulatory Board.

Three-time Grand National winning trainer Gordon Elliott has been banned from racing for six months - with a further six months suspended for being pictured sitting on a dead horse.

Denise 'Sneezy' Foster is to step in as licensed trainer at Cullentra House Stables.

Elliott is banned from racing until September following an IHRB hearing into the picture taken in 2019.

The punishment will also be enforced in Britain.

The British Horseracing Authority say all horses trained by Elliott must be transferred to another licensed trainer by Monday for them to be allowed to compete at Cheltenham or Aintree.
