They can now get the Johnson and Johnson jab from certain pharmacies.
Many pharmacies are reporting huge numbers of young people booking in for their Covid-19 vaccine.
Yesterday, it was announced that from Monday, 18 – 34 year olds can get the Johnsons and Johnson jab from pharmacies.
A Government minister estimated that 200,000 people are set to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 up to two months early.
While it's reported there's enough stock of vaccines to cover every person in their 20's here over the summer.
Already, between J&J stock on hand and deliveries due for July and August, there would be enough J&J vaccines to cover every person in their 20s in Ireland.
That's not including deliveries of other jabs, nor the 500k extra people who could be sorted with Romanian purchase.

The Taoiseach is in negotiations with several other EU countries about buying their unused supplies of Covid-19 vaccines.
It comes after Ireland agreed to buy a million vaccines from Romania yesterday.

The HSE says there's been a great response in young people booking in for their jab.
Many pharmacies have 100s of people on their list for the jab when they're made available on Monday.

Meanwhile, over two thirds of adults have now gotten at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.
48 per cent are fully vaccinated, according to the latest figures from the HSE.
