Just 12 percent want to see all remaining restrictions lifted next week.
A new opinion poll, by The Irish Mail on Sunday, has shown a majority of the population is in favour of the continued use of Covid vaccine certs after next Friday.
The majority of restrictions had been due to be lifted then, but doubt has been cast on that recently.
With case numbers rising, it's likely the Government may be more cautious.
They're due to have a meeting on Tuesday to discuss what restrictions will stick and what'll be lifted following recommendations from NPHET.
The Irish Mail on Sunday poll shows that 76% of those surveyed believe unvaccinated people should be subjected to continuing restrictions after October 22nd.
82% want to see mask wearing remain in certain settings, while 70% would like to see the Covid digital cert remain.
This allows those vaccinated against, or recovered from the virus allowed entry to indoor hospitality.
42% said they want restrictions to remain on high risk activities like nightclubs.
While 37% want limits on the number of people at events and social distancing indoors to remain.
The poll shows that just 12% want to see all remaining restrictions lifted next week.
