That's whether they have covid themselves, or are a close contact.
Yesterday, it was reported that jury trials, pharmacy opening hours and post deliveries have all been delayed in recent days.
The Courts Service has had to postpone jury trials in the Central and Circuit courts until later this month.
Meanwhile, the Irish Pharmacy Union says many outlets are having to reduce hours or close for a few days because of the same problem.
Finally, An post says it's experiencing 'a significant increase in Covid 19 related absences' that's putting a strain on the company's operations.
Today, it's reported Tánaiste Leo Varadkar has said an update on close contacts is due this week.
He also said the Government has some options to consider in new guidance from the European Centre for Disease and Control.

Retail Ireland is calling for a change to the rules.
It says if not, supply chains may break down over the coming weeks due to staff absences of between 17 to 30 per cent.
