It's going to be a VERY Good Friday!
So Ireland will be hotter than Ibiza this Friday, how many times do we get to say that a year?
Met Eireann's latest forecast says that temperatures will rise as high as 20 degrees as we approach the Easter long weekend, with even more dry and sunny weather to follow.
Here's what we're in for:
Good Friday is set to be dry and sunny, with spells of around 15-20 degrees around the country, splendid.
Easter Saturday will see the warm and weather continue. However, it will become cloudier in the northwest with perhaps some drizzle later in the day. The west and northwest can expect 14 to 17 degrees, but it's be between 18 and 21 degrees for the rest of the country.
Sadly Easter Sunday will see a bit of a change for the worst with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle, with temperatures ranging from 12 degrees in the northwest to 17 degrees in the southeast.
While the national forecaster says 'unsettled' weather is on the way from Easter Monday.
Forecaster Liz Gavin from Met Eireann said, ''from this afternoon onwards we will see a grdual turn for the good, temperatures will be on the increase.''
In short, get out and about while the sun is shining!
