A man in his 20s has been arrested in relation to a hit and run in Cork City last weekend.
At around 3:15 on Saturday morning a woman was hit by a car while out walking on the Magazine Road.
The 23 year old was taken to Cork University Hospital having suffered serious life changing injuries.
Gardai have also seized the vehicle involved in the incident.
