Gardaí are continuing to investigate the assault of a teenage boy in Navan on Monday afternoon.
Five teenage boys arrested in connection with the assault have all been released without charge.
A file will be referred in the first instance for consideration for admission to the Juvenile Diversion Programme in accordance with Part 4 of the Children Act, 2001.
The 14-year-old schoolboy suffered severe facial injuries and broken teeth in the attack.
Video footage of the assault was also shared on social media which sparked a national media response.
Gardaí are treating it as a hate crime.
