The GAA has banned counties and clubs from promoting charities or causes on their shirts.
Central Council rubber-stamped the proposal over the weekend.
It comes after a Mayo GAA request to wear rainbow armbands in support of LGBTQ+ people was rejected.
1993 All Ireland winner, Joe Brolly, says GAA people are furious with this decision, and he believes rightly so:
"Forget about it. Ring one of the banks. Ring one of the big insurance companies. That's no problem. That suits us right down to the ground."
"We don't care what the background is. We don't care what skulduggery they've been up to. We don't care what damage it causes, that's good enough for us."
"I think there's a genuine rage amongst GAA people today and it's entirely understandable."
