Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a man was hit by a bus and killed in Co Meath last night.
The crash happened on the R135 at Newtown Cross, The Ward near Ashbourne shortly after 11pm.
The man, in his 70s, died at the scene while the bus driver was uninjured.
A post mortem on the mans body is to take place today at Navan Hospital.
The road at Newtown Cross has reopened.
