The actor, best known for playing Chandler Bing in the hit US sitcom, sadly passed away at his LA home on October 28th aged 54.
His fellow stars, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer, said in a joint statement
"We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew.
We were more than just cast mates. We are a family.
There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.
In time we will say more, as and when we are able.
For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."
The actors reunited on screen for the first time in 2021 after the show ended its celebrated 10-year run in 2004, having become a pop culture phenomenon.
