But they're so tasty...
Irish children will eat as many as five million Easter eggs this weekend, with the average child expected to eat four.
But parents are being reminded that the average egg contains 23 teaspoons of sugar - that's almost four times a child's recommended daily intake.
According to health experts at Safefood, children should only be eating 6 or 7 teaspoons a day.
So the message is - don't go on a mad one with the Easter eggs!
